If you’re not already following the misadventures of Dungeon Elementary, you probably should.
Monk: How can we put this fire out?
Me: I dunno. Spout Lore about fire.
Monk: I got a ten.
Me: It occurs to you that pouring water on a fire puts it out.
Monk: Where can I get some water?
Me: Spout Lore about water.
Monk: I failed.
Me: You have no idea where water comes from.
Paladin: Can I use my move “I Am the Law” to convince the fire to go out?
Me: Sure. What do you say to the fire?
Paladin: Never mind.
Ranger: What if we poured lava on it?
Me: Spout Lore about lava.
Ranger: I got a 7.
Me: It occurs to you that lava is basically fire.
All the kids at once: argument
Me: While you guys are arguing, the fire spreads to a second tree.
Ranger: Fine. Let’s put water on it. Is there water in my Adventuring Gear? Adventuring Gear is a five-use item and you can mark off a use to say you have whatever minor useful thing you need at the moment.
Me: Yes. Yes, your adventuring gear has water in it. Mark off a use of your adventuring gear for water.
Ranger: I pour water on the fire.
Me: Congratulations, you have defeated the fire.
All the kids: yaaaaay
e poi dicono che i bambini hanno piĂą fantasia degli adulti… XD
